14% (6kg) in 24 hours, 20% (8kg) in 4-5 days.

To Produce 25 Litres of Wash:
1. Ensure all equipment is clean and sterilized.

2. In a large vessel (cooking pot or similar), dissolve 6kg of white sugar in 6 litres of very hot water.

3. Pour this liquid into the fermenter, then top up to 25ltr-mark, adjusting the temperature to end up at:25 DegC. in warmer climates (summertime) or 30 DegC. in colder climates (wintertime).

4. Add contents of this yeast pack and stir vigorously to fully dissolve as well as to oxygenate the wash.

5. Important to allow initial volumes of CO2 to escape; cover with loosely fitted lid.

6. Seal with lid and airlock once early activity slows. Allow to ferment until completely finished and a SG of .990 to .980 is achieved. Taking a final SG reading is important as this will indicate final yield.

NOTE: If using 8kg sugar, the ferment will take longer and you will need to use a 30 litre fermenter for a greater headspace. If making a 20 litre wash, add 6kg to only 5 litres of hot water. If using dextrose, 6kg sugar is equal to 7kg dextrose.
