Transforms your alcohol quality! Turbo Clear should always be used to clear the wash before distillation. Within 24 hours over 95% of the yeast cells, solids and other unwanted compounds are removed from the wash. If yeast cells are not removed they wil break open during boiling, releasing off-flavours and aromas into the distillation process and reducing distallate quality. Likewise, absorbent materials such as powdered activated carbon and clays must also be removed from the wash before distillation, otherwise what they have absorbed will simply be released again during boiling
Instructions for Using Turbo Clear Finings A - Once fermentation is complete stir the wash vigourously to remove all the gas. Once de-gassed add the contents of Finings A, stir well to mix then leave to stand for 1 hour. Finings B - After 1 hour stir the wash very gently and add Finings B whilst stirring. Stop stirring as all the Finings B has been added. Do not stir vigorously as this will disrupt the clearing process. Leave to stand for 24 hours before carefully removing the clear wash for distilling.
